Design
The HP Victus 16 Ryzen 7 is a stylish and very powerful laptop. It is one of the best business laptop. It is a best business need laptop which is packed with lots of features. For all your computer needs it is a best travel companion. The key features of the laptop is the weight which is very light so that you can carry anywhere, the battery back up is also far better and it has a better processor also. It is a fully-loaded laptop that can carry you to victory. At this price it might be a great choice for all type of customers.
Processor
The HP Victus 16 Ryzen 7 is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H is an impressive octa-core processor of the Cezanne product family designed for larger laptops such as mobile workstations (DTR). The Ryzen features eight SMT-enabled Zen 3 cores running at 3.2 GHz (base clock speed) to 4.4 GHz (Boost). The chip has 16 MB of L3 cache and a Vega 8 iGPU. Ryzen 7 5800H is manufactured on the modern 7 nm TSMC process, just like the outgoing Ryzen 7 4800H was, and both CPUs have 8 cores and 16 threads. Microarchitecture is vastly different between the two though. The newer Zen 3 microarchitecture brings a massive IPC improvement over Zen 2. To be specific, AMD promises an increase of up to 19%, with independent reviews pointing to a lower (but sizeable nonetheless) 12% increase.
Keyboard
The Victus 16 uses a slightly unconventional keyboard layout. The position of the power button is just as unusual as the placement of the Insert and Delete keys, as well as the ><| key (see picture). German users will also have to get used to the single-row Enter key. There are more negative points for the measly arrow keys that are hardly suitable for gaming. On the other hand, the 16-inch laptop offers a full number block. We would evaluate the typing experience as “good” (pressure point, stroke, etc.), although the shape of the keys has a real edge to it.
Touchpad
Aside from the stability, which is less than optimal, the touchpad delivers a good performance. With a width of 4.9 in and depth of 3.1 in, it is pleasantly large. Even though the surface feels slightly less smooth than in many competitors, all the mouse movements succeed easily. Gesture support such as zooming and scrolling with two fingers also works reliably. A small issue: left and right clicks at the bottom edge produce slight clattering sounds, which takes away some of the quality impression of the laptop.
